PassNode is engineered strictly under zero-knowledge architecture principles. No password, username, website URL, or private note you save within the application is ever transmitted to a remote server, stored online, or shared with third parties. It is technically and structurally impossible for PassNode developers to access, view, or recover your vault data.
All sensitive credentials you input are encrypted using military-grade Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256) algorithms and stored strictly within your physical device's secure sandbox. Decrypting this secure database is only possible with your uniquely established Master Password. Protecting the confidentiality of your master password is entirely your responsibility.
To maintain application stability, optimize performance, and understand user engagement, PassNode utilizes Google Analytics. This integration collects strictly aggregate, non-personally identifiable usage metrics (such as active session durations and screen navigation patterns). No sensitive credentials, master passwords, vault inputs, or private keys are ever tracked, collected, or transmitted to external servers. PassNode features zero advertising modules or data-harvesting SDKs.
The application may request local storage access permissions strictly to maintain your encrypted database on your device and to execute the 'Export / Import' actions. This permission is solely utilized to generate and read encrypted '.pnd' backup files. Physically securing these backup files and managing their remote storage is entirely the user's liability.
The fingerprint or face recognition (biometric unlock) features operate exclusively via native local APIs provided by your device's operating system (Android/iOS). PassNode never accesses, reads, or retains your raw biometric records or facial maps. Biometric authentication is fully secured under the sole guarantee of your operating system.
When you uninstall the PassNode application from your device, your local encrypted database and all sensitive credentials are permanently deleted by the operating system. Since no data is retained in a cloud environment, it is absolutely impossible for the developers to retrieve, restore, or recover deleted information.
The user is solely responsible for any data loss or cyber leaks resulting from device theft, hardware damage, operating system crashes, spyware (malware, keyloggers, trojans) compromising the device, or exposing the Master Password to third parties. PassNode shall not be held legally accountable for any negative scenarios originating from user hardware or user negligence.
Any legal claims, cyber disputes, or proceedings arising out of this Privacy Policy or the use of the Application shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey (T.C.). Authorized local Turkish Courts and Execution Offices shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
